 Keith's Set-Up |
GMS "SE" Series (Black to Cherry Fade). Snare Drum(s): 5x14" and 4x12", Rack Toms: 12x9" and 13x10". These are mounted on the bass drum via the GMS Suspension System. Floor Toms 14x14" and 16x16" (with legs). Bass Drum: 16x22".
Cymbals: MEINL - Keith uses a variety of Meinl Cymbals that include the following Series: Raker, Byzance, Amun and Antique. Typical size set-up is as follows: 20" Heavy Ride, 15" - 16" - 17" thin to medium thin crashes. 18" Special Effects (China) Cymbal with 4 stainless steel book posts as rivets for sizzle. Hi-Hat: 14" Heavy Bottom / Thin Top. Splash: 10".
Drum Heads: EVANS: G-1 Coated on snares. Hydraulic (Oil Filled) heads on all toms, or EC-2 on all toms depending on musical situation. Bass Drum: E-MAD System (Yeah Baby!).
Bass Drum Muffling Device: THUMPERS (2 - Standard or 1 - Recording Dampening Device).
Sticks: PRO-MARK - Model #737 Wood tip or Elvin Jones Signature Stick with Wood Tips.
Hardware: DW 9303 Cymbal Stands with expandable short booms, DW 9000 Single Pedal, SW 9000 Series (3 leg), Hi-Hat.
Throne(s): Pork Pie (round) or Roc-N-Soc Motorcycle Seat.
Cases: HardCase
Internal Microphones: Electro-Voice: EV-468 mounted in Snare Drums and small Toms, EV-868 mounted in Kick Drum and Floor Toms. EV Cobalt 9 Mics for band performance/Clinic, as well as EV 2 Channel Wireless.
Internal Microphone Suspension System: MAY INTERNATIONAL
Tempo/Metronome & Drum Rug: L.T. LUGLOCK - Tempo Ref / Gig Rug.
Cymbal Cleaner: Groove Juice - Shell Cleaner: Shell Shine (by Groove Juice)
Maintenance: Silicone based lubricant for all moving parts, including chains and pedals.
